Program and Activities The Full Camp Experience At the beginning of each session, we welcome all campers with an Opening Ceremony. Campers have chosen to come to camp to focus on one particular sport, but together we join on the first night to establish everyone as part of one inclusive and supportive community. Likewise, we culminate our session by celebrating our achievements and reflect during the Closing Ceremony. Awards reflecting our core values are given to the campers who demonstrate strong character & determination, spirit, willingness to try new things, and being a “Mensch”.
Elements like these are what set our camp apart and demonstrate our emphasis on a positive Jewish values based experience. The Maccabi Cup The Maccabi Cup is not simply an athletic competition; it’s an epic event that emphasizes teamwork, spirit, leadership, and strong character. During this day-long competition, the entire camp is divided into two teams to compete for the honor of having their team name engraved on the esteemed Maccabi Cup which is displayed for future generations of campers.
We like to keep it interesting. So, no day at camp is exactly the same. Each afternoon, campers swim and enjoy an elective activity outside of their core sport. Electives tend to be more recreational than instructional, but all are supervised by coaches. Evenings include a variety of programs from games to camp stories, always engaging and fun. Meals are not only important for the health of our young athletes, but also a great time to build community with cabin mates and friends. Our chefs put together fresh (local when possible), healthy, and deliciously nutritious meals for our camp.
Every meal includes organic, gluten-free, kosher, and vegetarian options. Each week, time is set aside to observe Shabbat. Potential Elective Activities • Flag Football • Spikeball • Basketball • Soccer • Tennis • Futsal • Card Games • Beach Volleyball • Ultimate Frisbee • Speed & Agility Training • Weight Training (campers 14+) • Fantasy Football • Lawn Games • Whiffle Ball.
