If you’re lucky, you should only then need to tell your AV to restore the file to its original location from the quarantine area and everything will work; failing that, uninstall/reinstall the game to exactly the same directory (needs to match the file path in the excluded list) and this time, your AV should ignore it when installing and running.
Hello: I am trying to install 'City Car Driving' to my PC and I get this message while installing: 'ISDone.dll An error occurred while unpacking: archive corrupted Unarc.dll returned an error code: -7 ERROR archive data corrupted (decompression fails)' Does anyone knows any reason why this is happening? And is there any way to fix this? Any answers/ideas are welcome. I am running Windows 10 Pro x64. I tried a few solutions that I found on Google or Youtube to no avail: - I turned off Windows Defender - I tried to install in Safe Mode - I tried downloading ISDone.dll file and copying to the Windows32 and SysWOW64 folder and using Command Prompt to regsvr32 ISDone.dll Please help. I recommend you refund that game on steam (if that's where you bought it).
There seems to be quite a bit a issues with it and the dev's have more than once directed their customers to download versions of the game and individual files from site outside of Steam -> very shady or lazy. They should be providing the same things to all their customers and not make them hunt down updates and patches. Since this issue is completely the developers fault, I would contact them either through their Steam Store ( ) or through their website ( ). I found the solution: First check that file should be downloaded properly after that say u dowload game in any drive say f drive first rename the folder name and write as short as possible like a,b,c but short.
After that when you install the game the most imp. Part install the game in same drive like f as i have download in f drive and dont install in folder in folder simply install in f drive not in folder in folder in drive basically i mean to say the name of destination of installation should be small for ex f: ghost like this where ghost is name of game and it should be simply like a b c and downloaded folder and installed folder name should not be same Thats it if u have any prob. I am trying to install NFS:RUN and MOH:W but every time it comes with ISDone.dll or Unarc.dll errors. I have tried installing the same in safe modes. But nothing till now.
Some where over the net I read it might be a problem with RAMs, but I did memtest on it last night. And it returned without any errors. I thought the files are corrupted, but the same installation ran smoothly on my friend's PC. I am really confused. If it was an HDD space issue, then I have 298GB free space where I was trying to install these 2 games.
If it was Winrar, then I have latest licensed version with me. Kindly look into it and provide a solution. Where are you downloading the games from or are you trying to install from commercial DVDs? Also, why are you trying to install via Safe Mode? You should be able to install any game via a normal startup session as long as you have administrator permissions.
My friend did these 2 downloads from torrent I guess. Since I dont have any internet back home. I copied the contents from the HDD he brought.
Since then I tried to install the games one by one for more than 5/6 times, but faced this issue!!! So I thought may be in safe mode, it will be done. And for viruses and malware. These were clean as I have Norton Internet Security and Microsoft Security Essentials (licensed) with my Win 7 Ultimate OS. I do have administrator permissions.
