Chrome Remote Desktop Host Installer Download
You need to go to your Downloads folder on your computer. (To find 'Downloads,' click your Start button, then type 'downloads' into the search box Click on the 'Downloads' folder that should be at or near the top of the list. That will open your Downloads folder, where you will see listed a program that has 'host' somewhere in its name.
Feb 24, 2018 - I just freshly installed 17.04 and can't seem to get the host bits of Chrome Remote Desktop installed. In the Chromium browser, it does.
Forgive me, I can remember exactly what it's actually called, but it will probably have some reference to 'chrome' in its name, as well. Since you have tried this a few times, you will probably have several copies. Double click on any one of them, and that will start the program installing. W.: If you could pass along a suggestions to either have the program install automatically, or have a box pop up telling the user to manually install it (and how to find it), that would save some frustration. (It would have saved me about an hour of flailing around on the phone with my dad, at least.) Thanks! Pocketable, 1:46 น.
Hi Tom, You may configure Chrome using group policy to suite your preferences/needs. For instance, you could try setting the home page URL to about:blank. To do this you will need to download the Chrome template file and add that to your group policy editor so you may use it.

Policy Templates -TP Beside you want to use the administrative templates for Chrome on your RDSH Server environment, I can also recommend to use the MSI for installing Chrome, you can find the download. Also set the server in mode before you install the browser, this is done to disable the.ini mapping to the home drive. Don't forget to set it back to /execute after the installation is done successfully.
Hi, Initially as suggested don’t need to have browser on RDS server for security purpose. But if want then there is no any specified method suggested to install Google chrome on RDS server. We can just install the browser as we are installing normally but might can place some security policy for accessing the browser (not specified to chrome-general policy). For more thing you can contact google support if they have any special guide. Hope it helps!

Not sure I understand what you're saying? RDS has shadow keys keep that in mind when installing apps that aren't designed for RDS. Also, I use Mcafee EPO that blocks executing files from temp folders. Do you have any anti-virus software that might do the same?
GPO can also block files from running in temp folders. Do you have anything like that set? Download driver rtl8191s wlan adapter. I can't imagine why it wouldn't install. Do you have UAC enabled?
