I just bought an 86 Freighliner cabover that has a 350 big cam cummins. It had been sitting for a couple years. I started it for the first time today and its blowing oil back out of the oil fill hose. The engine oil level is it correct, From memory I believe it is 32 liters pan level at the full mark. You also want to tell us if there is smoke when cold? Does it have a miss blow oil out the exhaust? You might want to remove the exhaust pipe, and inspect the turbine for damage just in case there is internal problems. Also remove the oil filter and inspect it for metal, and the oil drain plug for metal. No use spending a lot of money on something that has bigger problems unless you know what they all are.
